We are a multi-aged grouped preschool setting. We believe children learn by discovery and exploration, along with academic training. Our teachers are facilitators in their development. We do not hold children back if they are mature and mentally ready to receive class instructions geared to our Preschool Program. However, when we do have children that are older than five are; who are unable to master those skills necessary for placement; we have teachers trained to identify and modify early class instructions for those children. Our teachers give extra time, applaud, praise, and attention to those children as they bring our students up to their individual level. Our Pre-School program provides learning experiences to enhance your child’s social, emotional, academic, cognitive and developmental growth. The Academy’s primary objectives are intended to smoothly transition each child into Kindergarten, encourage self-dependence, boost self-esteem, develop talents and develop their minds.

Our Multi-Purpose Room has Learning Centers that focus on different areas such as Language Arts, Math, Home Living, Sensory, Large and Small Manipulative, and Arts & Crafts. In addition to this variety of learning materials that are available to the children, the children understand independent and self-reliant as they work within each center.
Posted in each classroom are daily schedule, teacher’s lesson plans, and monthly calendar of special events, which are posted on the classroom bulletin board. This we feel will provide parents the opportunity to be involved in their child’s day. Daily take-home worksheets and samples of concept and skill activities keep parents informed of their child’s progress. Oral communication with parents are on an ongoing basic, parent-teacher conferences are held periodically to graph your child’s progress and ensure that your expectations are being met and exceeded.
